01 | Reflections on 'gender, sex and sexuality'

As society has become more concerned about the LGBTQ community, I have had some personal reflections.

Based on the movie Red Velvet Goldmine, I thought of the issue of releasing human nature. I began to wonder if we are so concerned with outside opinions that we hide our nature? You can listen to my podcast by clicking the microphone on the left.

In addition, after watching Why Women Kill, I came up with a new concept of marriage, which I called "marrinoage". You can watch the video I made about the concept.

02 | Different diet culture influenced by philosophy

I did a research to compare Chinese and western food culture from the philosophy perspective. In this essay, I discussed the difference from 3 aspects of diet culture, food materials, cooking standards and eating rituals. I found that food culture is closely related to philosophy, and many ancient philosophical thoughts can be reflected in diet culture. Moreover, with the development of globalization, cultural exchange and integration, Chinese and western culture are constantly absorbing foreign cultures to enrich themselves, which makes their own traditional food culture more precious from another side.

03 | A conversation with a Pakistani friend

When I was a freshman, I had a friend from Pakistan, and we had a conversation about how cultural background affects people's daily lives.

04| High Black Crime Rates
It has long been a stereotype of American society that blacks are more likely to commit crimes. I write an essay to talk about the factors that have contributed to a number of stereotypes through the history of the United States and how these have influenced black crime rates.
In fact, this stereotype and black crime are interactive processes. At the end of the article, I expressed the hope that race can achieve real equality and that black people can win respect.

05| Students role in 2019 HongKong protests
Different from the Umbrella movement in 2014, the 2019 HK movement is leaderless and diverse, which  has made social media the primary means of communication. Because most of the participants were students, and the students also played a relatively special role in Hong Kong society as representing the new voice of Hong Kong, I plan to discuss the way student protesters made political claims about HK identity through social media.
I will upload it to the website once I finished.
